Google Street View has hit San Antonio
Well, I read an article a few days back about Google getting in a tad bit of trouble for taking photos on base at Ft. Sam Houston, so I knew they’d been in the area… finally got around to checking, and sure enough they now have photos of the front of our house, along with the rest of our neighborhood… I just wish they would have waited until after I cleaned up some stuff in our front yard and had put our trash and recycling bins away at the side of the house… still, it was a nice, sunny day and things could have looked a lot worse around the neighborhood than they did in the photos… (The photo below is from Google Street View, though I’ve cropped it down a bit to get rid of the address, street name, etc…)
Just noticed that it appears that we still had the flag up when the photo was taken. The pole for that flag broke in half during a wind storm a few weeks ago, so this picture is probably older than I originally thought… still within the past couple of months though…
